I am a graduated electronic engineer (from University College Dublin) with work experience in France, Spain, Italy and Brazil in the field. I always worked in the language of the country I was based in. I also have two years experience as a translator with some of Europe's most important translation firms (both in-house and as a freelance translator). I only translate documents based on electronics/hardware/software and some other related domains as I have in-depth knowledge of those fields. I have a bilingual diploma in Spanish (DELE superior) and plan to complete the equivalent in French later this year (DALF C2).
Due to my background, I write documents as an engineer/I.T. specialist really does - which is more important than simply giving an "adequate" translation.
