To our surprise, the answer was quite the opposite. Questa espressione significa "manifestando interesse".
La sua origine deriva dalle manovre effettuate da chi e' interessato a comprare una macchina. Se osservi fanno tutti cosi': ci girano intorno, guardano il cruscotto, aprono il cofano e poi, inevitabilmente, provano le gomme dandogli dei calci. Non serve a niente, ma lo fanno tutti. Boh!
schwag = magliette promozionali
Non conoscevo questo termine, ma ho fatto una ricerca e pare che si tratti degli oggetti promozionali che vengono regalati, per esempio negli stand, in occasione di fiere o eventi.
