This phrase is a column, or heading, in a questionnaire that asks about a patient's functioning in different areas of life. The term does NOT refer to an area of the body or organ where a symptom is felt; this is about different categories or types of symptoms: the 'symptom areas' are p.es. sleep, appetite, mood, social functioning, speech, memory, etc. Sarebbe corretto dire 'area sintomatologica'?
