Feststellung des Fachschulexamens
Nach Abschluss der mündlichen Prüfungen setzt der allgemeine Prüfungsausschuss in der Abschlusskonferenz für jeden Prüfling die Abschlussnoten fest.
In den schriftlichen Prüfungsarbeiten, die durch eine mündliche Prüfung ergänzt wurden, wird die Note der schriftlichen Leistung zweifach gewichtet. Die Abschlussnote ist entsprechend dem ermittelten rechnerischen Wert durch Auf- oder Abrunden zu bilden.
Das Gesamtergebnis des Fachschulexamens lautet "bestanden" oder "nicht bestanden".
Das Fachschulexamen ist bestanden, wenn die Leistungen des Prüflings in den Abschlussarbeiten in höchstens einer der drei Abschlussnoten „mangelhaft“ sind und der erzielte Notendurchschnitt mindestens 4,0 beträgt.

Berufskolleg: Leads to Fachhochschulreife in Baden-Württemberg after attendance of three years of vocational school or two years of full-time vocational school.
Fachhochschulreife (subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification): This qualification is reached after a successful termination of Fachoberschule and entitles to attend "Fachhochschule" (institution of higher education).
Fachoberschule (vocationally oriented senior secondary school): After having passed the
"Realschulabschluß" (leaving certificate of Realschule) or a similar education, a two-year-education incl. subject-oriented training leading to Fachhochschulreife.
