Again, from a troubleshooting report about a sheet feeder, written by a representative of a Swiss manufacturer of paper-making machines. I assume that kontra means 'gegen' but don't know what to make of He. Here's the context:

Die Fehlbogen **kontra He** arbeitete bei schwarzem Papier nicht immer richtig.
Das Problem lag daran, das die Halterung der Fotozelle nicht mehr in der richtigen Position zum Material
stand.
Dadurch konnte das ausgesendete Signal nicht zurückgesendet werden.
Der Halter wurde wieder eingestellt, und die Funktion des Lichttasters mit schwarzem Papier getestet.

Ken Cox: 08:45 Jun 7, 2007: How confident are you of the accuracy of the text? Could this be an transcription or OCR error? Gramatically, 'kontra He' could well be part of the subject noun, since the verb is singular and the article Die implies a feminine noun (which Bogen is not).
Jack Becconsall: 10:10 Jun 7, 2007: Following on from Ken's comment, if OCR error is a possibility, then something like "Fehlbogenkontraste" would seem to fit the context and the grammar. As you cannot rely on guesswork, you should query the source text.
Julianne Rowland: 10:52 Jun 7, 2007: Thanks for your input, Ken and Jack. The source text is very strange indeed, and contains many errors. I hadn't thought about an OCR error, but this could very well be the case. I think I am going to have to query the source text on several points.

Thanks to Nicole, Ken, and Jack. In the end, I contacted the client and found out that this was indeed a scanned text, hence the OCR errors. I was given the PDF version and lo and behold, instead of Fehlbogen kontra He, there was Fehlbogenkontrolle!
