The phrase is "Carrelli frontali elettrici"
The cliens have translated the term "Carrelli" in the past as "forklifts". I'm wondering why they may have now included the word "frontale".
Eurodicautom gives this term as "reach stacker" but I'm not sure ths will fit in with the clients previously used terminology.
Any suggestions? |

Contrary to expectations, this is the industry-standard expression. Some manufacturers may use alternative definitions (mainly in Italian), but if you check the OM Pimespo site (see under) you'll find the definition clearly stated by switching between the GB and IT versions of the site. I'm sure about this expression because I have worked for just about all the main forklift truck manufacturers.
For further confirmation try Googling for "counterbalanced trucks" and comparing the results with "front loading trucks".
