this question is related to the one linked below, so I kindly ask you to read that too (thanks for your patience ^^):

The context is the same: a man is fighting against two opponents, and right after saying the sentence I quoted in the other topic (己を誇示できるだけの力がなければ操られる弄ばれるだけの傀儡でしかないですよ. 飼い主である彼女にも、敵であるわれわれにとっても) he uses a technique that manipulates the enemies' bodies with threads, making them puppets.

One of the enemies then says:

これだ. まるで糸に操られるように体が勝手に...
This is it. My body moves on its own as if it was controlled by threads...

My doubt is about that これだ. Does it mean something like "so this is what he was speaking about when he talked about being no more than a puppet"? Or is there some other possible interpretation?
