Lo más cercano que se me ocurre es, It happens to the best of us. Pero esto no funciona en el contexto. ¿Alguna sugerencia?

شرح: The Spanish saying is about swimmers and not hunters. plus it makes no sense to talk about snake hunters (or catchers) in the current.
I offer this as a somewhat more "snake-related" saying. And it is quite applicable in the case of snake catchers.
