إسباني مصطلح أو جملة: deposito a plazo

The Kudoz glossary lists both "term deposit" and "time deposit" as being the correct translation for "deposito a plazo".

So which one is it? Term or time?

Or are both correct under different circumstances? If there is a difference, then can someone please explain it.
