I believe that translation can be a very challenging career. During your work you get to acquire new information for various topics and feel like progressing as a professional as well as a person. Translation is vital in today's society where nothing stays limited in the close borders of a state. Information, products and more importantly rules and regulations circulate around the world and with them so does language.
I have studied both translation and law and that is why I believe I can use my studies in my advantage either separately or in combination. A university law degree is the most adaptable of academic qualifications and I believe that law school and translation can be perfectly combined.
Personally, I have very good organizational skills. I can easily identify and categorize the tasks that need to be accomplished, pulling elements together in an orderly, functional and structured whole. I am able to prioritize tasks and get the most important done first. Setting realistic goals, I can organize projects while being conscious of schedules and deadlines. |
