About me 

Foreign languages and cultures have always been interwoven into the fabric of my being. I like to think of myself as a linguistic and cultural facilitator who embraces multilingualism and multiculturalism and helps customers bridge cultures by providing accurate, flawless translations and seamless, effective interpreting.

Every step that I have taken in my journey is a testament to that. Having lived part of my life for academic and career purposes in the United States, Latin America and several EU countries means not only that I have reached native-level language skills, but also a deep cultural understanding of those regions. Becoming a translator and interpreter was a natural evolution for me. I first channelled my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm into a career as an in-house translator and language instructor, which later led me to a rewarding and exciting solo career under the business name Linguistic Compass.

As a professional linguist and a perfectionist by nature, I always go the extra mile to deliver flawless and accurate target texts. This is the mantra my professional ethics relies on and the promise that I make to you. Being a language expert goes beyond my professional commitments. I am a migration activist and researcher and I am deeply committed to shattering down linguistic barriers by acting as a linguistic agent of change.
