Description	El C�rculo de Traductores P�blicos e Int�rpretes de la Zona Oeste fue creado el 22 de febrero de 1994 por las Traductoras P�blicas Ana Mar�a Paonessa, Leticia Scavino y Marisa Basallo. El prop�sito fundamental de nuestro C�rculo es contribuir a la jerarquizaci�n de la profesi�n de Traductor P�blico y de Int�rprete, para lo cual llevamos a cabo, entre otras, las siguientes actividades: Difundir la tarea que realizan los traductores y los int�rpretes Impartir cursos y talleres de perfeccionamiento profesional Brindar asesoramiento a traductores e int�rpretes, as� como a entidades p�blicas y privadas Mantener contactos con otras asociaciones profesionales y con instituciones universitarias Entre las actividades de promoci�n de la profesi�n, hemos publicado diversos art�culos en diarios locales y hemos tenido entrevistas radiales y para televisi�n por cable para dar a conocer nuestra instituci�n. En cuanto al perfeccionamiento profesional, entre 1994 y 2003 hemos impartido m�s de 50 cursos y talleres sobre diversos temas, a los cuales han asistido alrededor de 500 alumnos.
