Leveraging glossary TXT with "less than" character

Hi,
I exported to glossary TXT (tagged format) file and have a translator translate the file. (the txt was converted to TagEditor friendly format for the translator)

When I leveraged the translated TXT to my TTK, translations which have "

it seems this site has the similar problem - using lessthan character Mar 14, 2013

Title should read "Leveraging glossary TXT with "less than" character"

The body should be:
Hi, I exported to glossary TXT (tagged format)

Alchemy confirmed it's by design Apr 22, 2013

I hope this design will be changed because we often use less than characters in UI strings.
Using tab delimited TXT will solve this issue but may cause another issue if the original text have tab characters.
