But even in such CAT tools, it is a good idea to "prepare" the file before loading it into the CAT tool, because only the most basic formatting can be fixed inside the CAT tool.

The topic is "inserting tags" and a process is the same as in previous versions of OmegaT.

On the other hand, I don't know how to convert the PDF into plain text...

the PDFs I usually get are protected...
