seems she scammed me as well for more than $2000.- Jan 26, 2017

I was stupid, perhaps nobody should work with the legitimate agency if it enables the free use of its name and does nothing to find the scammer. Besides, the law office is cooperating with the scammer. I will contact the commercial attache in Tel Aviv if anyone could let me have the name of the law firm that is dealing with the trial (allegedly, if it is a trial, with respect of fraud, in Israel).

Everything about Globallingo is fake Jan 26, 2017

1. "Diana Segura" is just a name created by the scammers behind "Globallingo".

2. The address was copied from the website of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Scammers even retained "LSE": http://www.lse.ac.uk/contact/Home.aspx

Thank you for this post, I'm almost a victim Mar 9, 2017

This morning I was contacted by this person Diana, and I almost fell for the scam thinking it was the actual Global Lingo. I don't know what stroke me, but before I started the translation I decided to check everything again and then I found the link of this post on the actual Global Lingo's profile in the Blue Board.

I insisted that I needed to get the money before I started working on the translations and I haven't heard from her again.

I think it would be a great idea if Proz sent a message to all members warning about known scammers.

Anyway, thank you for posting this and saving me a really bad time.

Greetings from Buenos Aires.

I wonder whether all of us could join together and upload a site where all the documents we were not paid for and are therefore ours be uploaded on the internet for everyone to see. Together with the story and name.
In my opinion, in my case at least, the lawyer or party/parties involved should know that the entire case of their clients whether plaintiffs or defendants would be there for everyone to see.
My email is: [email protected].

Dear Liora,

I hope you are well.

I am reaching out to you today on behalf of Global Lingo as we have a great opportunity for the following months. One of our key-clients will assign approx. 50-60k words to be translated in the second half of 2017. This word count has been confirmed up to now and it’s very likely that they will increase as more projects get approved.

The specialism is business, mainly code of conduct, data security, ethics, financial regulations. Could you please let us know if you are comfortable with the requested area of expertise and could you please provide some details about your experience?

Also, in order to be considered for these projects could you please:

1. provide a copy of your up-to-date CV
2. confirm if you work with SDL Trados or compatible tools (MemoQ, Wordfast PRO, Memosource etc)

We are looking at creating a dedicated team of 5 resources per language combination which will work on this client account, but we really need competitive and preferential prices so that we could assign this work.

Therefore, should you be interested in this large project, could you please get back to me with your BEST RATES for the following services:

- Translation per source word
- Proofreading per source word
- LSO (checking the final version of a document once it's been laid out and finalised by Desktop Publishing) per hour
- Glossary creation per hour
- Minimum charge

I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Are you really sure, Liora, you got this from the scammer and not from the real Global Lingo?
From the previous posts I understood that the domain with "-" belongs to the real agency, whereas "globallingo" are the scammers....?

Hi Liora,

I have just found your post with my email on this forum. As you know, I have replied to your email in which you have requested proof that we are the legitimate company. If you do a bit of research on the scammer company you`ll see that everything is fake - the address, the name of the PM. If you search my name on LinkedIn, you`ll find my profile showing all my experience and education. In my email signature you can also find my phone number which you can use to call me and

In my email signature you can also find my phone number which you can use to call me and I`ll be happy to discuss with you. As for the fact that we are allowing the other company to use our name, it difficult to react when you do not know who is behind this. Also, the name of our company is Global Lingo Ltd, and from what I see, the other company`s name is Globallingo for Language Services, which is totally different.

Moreover, Katarzyna Slowikova you are right, the domain with "-" belongs to us, whereas "globallingo" are the scammers.

The postal address on the above email is in fact the address of LSE, London School of Economics and Political Science. If you are not careful, "LSE" in the address seems to be about "Language Services" in the dubious company name.

Their website address is:

Their postal address and telephone number on their website:
