Ok, so Facebook isn't everyone's cup of tea, but nevertheless you ought to know there are now two active communities in full swing, where anyone interested in ProZ.com is welcome.

The first, at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ProZcom/ is a discussion forum where, for the time being, we are concentrating on helping new and old members alike optimise their use of the ProZ.com platform. It's open to everyone and completely free. We've recently introduced new rules and there's a revived spirit of collaboration and sharing. Come and see for yourself!

The second, at https://www.facebook.com/groups/thetranslationmastermind/ is designed for all ProZ.com Plus Subscribers. Our community, which meets both on Facebook and in real life, offers a holistic perspective on freelancing and 24/7 support from a global network of like-minded translators and interpreters. In this positive, troll-free zone, you’ll have an opportunity to brainstorm with peers, build professional friendships, share your successes rather than complaints, and find support and encouragement. Plus plenty of fun with puns!

We look forward to having you join us over there!

Thanks Andrew!

I deleted my Facebook account a few years ago, but have now re-registered, hoping to avoid getting bogged down in trivia as I did back then.
