Source text - English Your study participation will last approximately 31 to 38 weeks (depending on the medication you currently take for your diabetes) and will require at least 8 visits to the study site. The study staff may request that you return to the study site for additional visits for follow-up laboratory assessments or to pick up study drug (dutogliptin or placebo) or background drug (glimepiride with or without metformin).
For three of the study visits, after the first procedures of the visit are completed, you will be asked to return to the study site over the course of the day for some additional blood tests. (You may be asked to return to the study center twice in one day for these samples.) The blood samples are scheduled between 30 minutes to 4 hours and 6 to 8 hours after the first procedures of the visit. The results of these additional blood draws will allow the sponsor to know more about how the body uses, stores, and gets rid of dutogliptin and how dutogliptin acts in the body. (Participants will take part in this blood testing regardless of whether they are taking dutogliptin or placebo.)

I am a Medical doctor having graduated in 1995. Since then I have worked extensively in Northern India as well as six years in UK (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
I have written, edited and published newsletters for general physicians based in Delhi.
I have taken lectures on topics of mental health for General practitoners and Junior Doctors in UK.
I have a formal qualification in Computers (European Computers Driving License).
IELTS score of 8.5 overall in May 2010.
I concurrently work as a freelance translator and voice over artist for English to Hindi and vice versa. My specialty is medical and patient information work, translating medical documents, journals and clinical trial documents.
Presently I have projects from agencies based in India and Europe for translation of Public documents, Technical manuals and a European website. Recent projects worth mention have been transcribing and translating a Hindi-English mix-fusion song, brochures of a number of Hotels based in Asia and a Clinician Review of a Health Assessment Scale.
Since 2008, I have been a voluntary member of Distributed Proofreaders (www.pgdp.net) where I proofread and edit transcribed books (fiction, non fiction, poetry and prose etc)
