Bio

I'm a native Croatian working as a full-time translator from English into Croatian.


I have four years of professional experience in translation and have worked on projects for large companies in the following subject fields:

- gaming

- technology

- sports and fashion

- HR.


I have recently worked on localizing approximately 15.000 words worth of content for the user interface of a major online music streaming service. I have translated a series of marketing documents, e-mails, help articles, instruction manuals, employee handouts - to mention a few.


In my spare time I like to do some volunteer work for Translators without Borders. Some of my projects there include content on Special Olympics, rare diseases and independent living.


So far I have translated subtitles from English into Croatian for 22 TED Talks.


In addition to that, I have three years of experience working in digital (content) marketing and I have an MA in the English language and literature.


I'm used to short deadlines and unexpected notifications about new projects, although I prefer to have enough time to produce a higher quality text and check everything.
