The aromatic reformate from the naphtha reformer will be further fractionated, undergo extractive distillation and transalkylation to produce benzene and mixed xylenes, followed by paraxylene purification and isomerisation to maximise paraxylene production. Paraxylene, benzene, LPG and light naphtha, as well as a number of other product streams are produced by this downstream aromatics complex.
