A giudicare dalle immagini, per slab knit si intende proprio il jersey melange (il più delle volte grigio, che per via del colore si definisca slab?)

guardando le immagini direi che è una specie di melange a mattoncino come pietre (slabs) o comunque geometrico e di trama orizzontale come una fila di pietre o mattoni
