French to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) in a contract

Please note this is one term. Part of a clause in a contract for hiring an employee (who's an engineer). I'm aware about the French Intellectual Property Code and the classes of inventions according to French Law (3 types) see below but I'm not sure if in this case we can simply talk about creating a work, or what would be the most appropriate term here. Help appreciated thanks

Si vous étiez amené au cours de l’exécution de votre contrat de travail, à créer l’un des « travaux » (au sens visé par le présent contrat) ou étiez impliqué dans une telle création, vous autorisez définitivement et sans condition, dans les limites de ce que la loi (actuelle ou future) permet, la Société ou toute autre personne titulaire d’un licence ou ayant été habilitée par la Société, à prendre toute mesure en relation avec ce « travail », mesure qui, si elle était prise sans votre consentement, serait considérée comme une violation de votre droit moral ou de vos droits voisins qui vous seraient reconnus au niveau mondial ; vous renoncez à tous vos droits moraux actuels ou futurs qui pourraient naître en application de la loi française.
