I was born in London but I have a Spanish background as both my parents are Spanish. In fact all my family is Spanish. This has given me a completely bilingual upbringing. I studied Spanish and Italian at Leeds University as I wanted to be a languages teacher and taught for two years at a secondary school before I moved to Spain where I currently live. In Spain I have continued to work as a languages teacher over the last 9 years for ages ranging from primary education to adults. I have worked both in schools and in language academies. I recently decided I would like to try something new so I am now looking to apply my extensive knowledge of both Spanish and English and their respective cultures in translation. Any opportunities to work even if it is as a volunteer would be most welcome as well as any advice.
