I am not so sure Paypal policy in Argentina. In Indonesia, once we could only send money. But now, here Paypal opens all transactions. Hope it would be the same with you there. If you can't receive fund using Paypal, then you can use moneybookers, another safe operator and also Western Union. ((About 11 UDS). 1) Solution: Verify your Paypal account with a credit card (if there is not a CC) request information at the following sites you may be able to get one pre paid card: http://www.istanto.net/free-payoner-debit-card-to-verify-your-paypal-account.html or https://www.rushcard.com/ 2) If you have a local bank account in Argentina, request an international credit card and that will work excellent. 3) If you still not cashing, or if there is a rush let me know and we will help you to get your money no charge at all, but you will still paying the 11 dollars transfer to you account or check. I have a Translation company and we are on the way to implement this type of support for many colleagues translators in Argentina facing same problem, either helping them to open an account in USA (we have a USA address and support) or advice them on the steps to get verified getting a pre paid card. Good luck to you. ▲ Collapse | |

Thank you all, honestly thanks. It's rather late here, in Bs As, for office inquiry but I'll make it tomorrow taking your experience into consideration. Feels great counting on colleagues's support. Thanks again. Mercedes | | | JPW (X) Local time: 19:14 Spanish to English + ... About Paypal | Jul 20, 2010 |
Hi Mercedes, If you are talking about setting up a (new) payapl account to receive money for work done, then I'm afraid it does take a while for the verification process to kick in. The only thing is, make sure you get it right first time to avoid any [i]unnecessary[/] delays. That's assuming paypal works in Argentina, of course. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Trying to collect Wordfast Pro | Translation Memory Software for Any Platform
