The neckring mechanism mounts in the blow mold bracket (part of the blow mold support mechanism).
When the neckring mechanism is dismounted and reinstalled, it is important to make sure the right-hand and left-hand bushings (1) are inserted properly, with the tapered sides of the bushings facing toward the neckring mechanism (part number on the outside and small hole close to the edge of the bushing toward the outside) or air will not flow properly for neckring open and close motion.
Check for proper mating of invert rack and neckring mechanism gear.
Remove the mounting caps (2) from the neckring mechanism.
Attach a sling around each end of the mechanism. Attach the slings to an appropriate lifting device and lift the neckring mechanism out of its housing.Using the lifting device and slings, place the new neckring mechanism in place, making sure it fits into the taper locking hub of the invert mechanism.
