Japanese term

成形

Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial hole-drilling into glass (patent)
I assume there is a difference between 成形and 形成? They mix it constantly in the document, but I can't see the meaning. My dictionary only says for 成形 "correction of deformities" in a medical sense. I want to do it accurately, because it's a patent application.
