The direction is defined, in degrees, by a point ***bearing***.
An arrow will display showing the bearing direction in the viewer.
Adjusting the bearing is a quick and easy way to manipulate the decline produced.
It can either be typed in the dialog or dynamically adjusted in the viewer by dragging the bearing arrow to its desired direction.
The bearing required can either be entered by the user, or left to the Tool to calculate the optimal bearing.
Once a decline preview has been run, the bearing chosen by the tool is displayed in the ‘Optimal’ column.
This optimal bearing is calculated by the tool trying a series of different direction changes, varying from large to small, then selecting the optimal result.
Once a decline has been created the details of it are presented in this tab; displaying the bearing, length, gradient and curve sweep for each consecutive segment of the decline.
Is it "rumo"? "Azimute"?
Thank you!
