You can use "accumulated" if you want but it is unnecessary.
But don't insert "acquisition" - this is Scandi translatorese. The word is "cost", not "acquisition cost" and most definitely not "acquisition value". Check IAS or any non-Scandi accounts.
You could also use "cost at end of period/on 31 Dec/etc".

: Hobby horse is right, and there is no absolute answer since, well, the US Govt, and even the Canadians use this term! But perhaps they are scandi influenced...http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?section=text&id=12...

Acquisition cost may have its uses, but not here. Even FAR call it cost, and they're normally the first to plump for a word-for-word translation. IAS 38: "An intangible asset shall be measured initially at cost" etc etc. Trust me!

Closing accumulated cost of acquisition
looked at an annual report provided in both languages: http://www.cybercom.com/2011/sv/Finansiellarapporter/12.html

Ending accumulated acquisition cost
While the difference here may seem minimal, the acepted term is 'acquisition cost' -- eliminates a zillion 'of' throughout your document, if nothing else.
Looks like you should look into the IFRS IAS standards...
