Bilingual Translator (English to Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati

Wantok Languages is currently seeking experienced translators proficient in English and one or more of the following languages: Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, and Gujarati. The primary responsibility will be translating large contexts for generative AI response. This is an immediate project with potential for ongoing collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate large contexts from English into Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, and Gujarati, and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and maintaining the original context and meaning.
Adapt translations to fit the style and tone of the original content.
Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of translations.
Proofread and edit translations as needed to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a translator, preferably in the field of AI or technology.
Proficiency in English and one or more of the following languages: Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, and Gujarati.
Excellent understanding of linguistic and cultural nuances.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a remote team environment.
Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.
