Le potentiel qualitatif est important, nous orientons donc nos efforts pour mettre en valeur ce patrimoine très particulier.
Nous attachons beaucoup d'importance au travail de nos vignes avec une recherche constante et poussée du travail en bio dynamie. Etant les seuls vignerons du village nous sommes dans un environnement idéal pour faire notre travail et préserver la multitude de levures indigènes du lieu. (micro climat dû aux reculées, présence de talus, bosquets, bio diversité de la faune et de la flore environnante).
Traduction - anglais The village of Montaigu, perched on its rocky hill-peak, is bordered by two gorges whose slopes are ideal for cultivating vines, as proved by geological studies: lias and trias soils on steep gradients with varying exposures in the Côtes du Jura appellation area.
Since the landscape offers great potential for quality wines, we direct our efforts towards bringing out the best of this special heritage site.
We attach great importance to the work we do in our vines, and carry out constant and advanced research into biodynamic viticulture. Being the only wine growers in the village, we are ideally placed to tend our vines organically and preserve the numerous strains of wild yeast present in the environment. Characteristics of our local environment include a microclimate created by the gorges, the presence of protective slopes and thickets, and the considerable diversity of the surrounding flora and fauna.

Ce Savagnin est vinifié pour exprimer tous ses arômes primaires (de la pulpe du raisin) et secondaires (de fermentation). C'est pour nous une photo de nos Savagnins sur leur jeunesse avant de passer à un élevage supplémentaire de 2 à 5 ans. Une légère note boisée pour apporter encore un peu de complexité à une jolie minéralité d'ensemble. Cette cuvée se mariera volontiers avec un poisson délicatement préparé ou un plateau de fromage.

White AOC Arbois, 13.5% alc.by vol, 800 bottles.
This Savagnin is vinified to express the whole palate of its primary aromas (specific to the grape variety) and secondary aromas (derived from fermentation and oak-aging). It represents a snapshot of our Savagnin wines in their youth, before they undergo an additional 2 to 5 years' aging.
A slight touch of oak adds complexity to the predominantly mineral aroma.
This wine readily accompanies any delicate fish dish or a cheese platter.

After achieving a Bachelor's Degree from Cambridge in French and German, I studied Human Resources Management in Brussels. A short stay in Rome as a Terminologist with the World Food Programme, then I embarked on a 7-year career in Human Resources, working in the UK and France for multinationals, family companies, and a zoo! I've been living in France for 11 years, where I give my husband an occasional hand running his vineyard.
In 2010 I decided to tie all of my experience together by becoming a free-lance translator, specialising in Human Resources and everything to do with wine. I work regularly for a couple of agencies, translating historical articles, rules for board-games, company documents, etc. and undertaking occasional interpreting jobs. My private clients include local winemakers, a wine marketing board and an NGO. Recently I translated the texts for a beautiful photographic book about the Jura region in France.
