Hello, I'm Hélio Grangeiro, a 28-years old Brazilian freelancer.

I am specialized in humanities and communications studies – as a journalist – and versed in technical and literary translation with five years of experience on the translation market, working under agencies as well as freelancing.

Fluent in both English (certified TOEFL proficiency) and Portuguese (Brazilian native), capable of working in any direction on the EN-PT pair in translation and proofreading jobs alike. As for software proficiency, I usually prefer to utilize CafeTran Espresso and Microsoft Word for translating and proofreading projects. SDL Trados Studios and memoQ are other options and I can manage basic desktop publishing in Adobe InDesign, as well as Photoshop and Illustrator.
