As I have a deep interest in language use, I have developed a solid set of skills in interpreting/translating and the importance of localization, and my long term experience as a sign language interpreter has given me a sharp ear for the spoken word and a brain well trained for translating, especially given that some of my interpreting work has been from English spoken language to Norwegian sign language and back, which requires a lot of focus and language switching.
