Italian to English Marketing Tourism & Travel
'attivita e convenzioni' - lots of entries for convenzioni in the glossary and the meaning is clear - but here it's the title of a section of a brochure for a hotel. Italians will of course recognise what convenzioni means - but I'm struggling to find a snappy, title-suitable way of rendering it in English. 'Discounts' is misleading. 'Agreements' means nothing without explaining between whom and therefore lengthening it somewhat. Same for 'links' and all other synonyms. Any ideas? TIA.

because I'm not convinced that a convenzione always produces a discount as such. Doesn't it depend on the nature and terms of the convenzoine? It might just mean that a spa, for example, will squeeze you in, or you get the better places round the pool.

I am assuming here that "convenzioni" means agreements with nominated entities for the provision of particular services or goods. BUt more context might produce a different suggestion.

I've been wrestling with these things for years. Its like trying to say iceberg in Swahili. The word arrangement is often used in business in English for a relatively permanent way of doing business as an alternative to "agreement". Obviously, "special" indicates that there is an advantage in it.

This is just a guess, but if the section lists its main clients, or those that it has client agreements with, and its main areas of activity, it sounds like a reference list to me.
