Uddah is a mourning period of four (4) months and ten (10) days, as prescribed by Sharia law, that a widowed female employee is required to observe immediately following the death of her husband. ENEC grants leave of absence at full pay for the four (4) months and ten (10) days to those widowed Muslim female employees who wish to observe and request Uddah leave.
