Italian to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Corporate Letterhead
This is listed on the corporate letterhead of an S.p.A. in extraordinary administration and follows the R.E.A. number, the Registro Imprese number and precedes the company's codice fiscale and partita IVA.

Can anyone tell me what C.C.P. n. XXXXXXXX stands for? (I cannot imagine that it would be a Current Account with the Post Office, which is the only item I could find in the Kudoz Glossary).

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

It seems odd to me that that a company conto corrente postale would be listed on company letterhead. The only other thing that I can think of is 'codice civile penale' but it has probably nothing to do with it.

This is not a utility company, it's a very big, very famous private corporation involved in the food industry. Enough said? The only thing I'm wondering is if this account number was put on the letterhead during the extraordinary administration because all other accounts were frozen perhaps?

It does sound a bit strange, but postal account numbers are often 8 digits. What does the company do? Do they maybe get a lot of payments into a postal account for some reason? (A utility company or something?)
