Spanish term

abordados a

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Ships, Sailing, Maritime Ships log
The phrase appears repeatedly in a ship's logbook, describing the ship's relation to various other ships in its port. As in, "abordados a SS Merrimimack".

"Approached to" seems ungrammatical, but I get the sense that they mean "parked next to". I have translated this as "alongside". Is there a more appropriate technical term?

agree philgoddard : I don't think you need to say moored/docked.

Thanks, Phil. Hard to say with hardly any context. The 2 meanings of "abordar " in this context that I found were colliding and mooring. Presume it's not the first one.
