Bio
I am a translator student at Lund University, Sweden. For the moment I am studying Spanish at an advanced level and then I am going to study a Master in translations from Spanish and English to Swedish.
I have a great background for becoming a translator with a medical specialization from Spanish and English due to my previous studies. I have studied a Natural Science Preparatory Year then Dentistry for a year and finally Med School for one semester before I finally chose to stay with my passion: language and translation. I have a genuine interest in medicine, nutrition, fitness and cooking. I read books on this subject daily and like to keep myself updated on new science and terminology.
My other great interest is the Spanish language and the culture of Spanish speaking countries. I have traveled a lot both in Spain and in Latin America. One of the greatest experiences was a three month trip to Ecuador where I took private lessons in Spanish for a month. I am in love with the language, the culture and I have a great advantage as a translator as I speak Spanish fluidly, and daily, with my Ecuadorian fiancee.
My principal field of expertise is medicine and nutrition/food. But thanks to my long list of interests and general knowledge of, above all, the Spanish language I am also good at general translations.
