Bio
My name is Eliane and I am a freelance English-Portuguese translator based in São Paulo, and I have been on the translation market for over 30 years.I have long experience in translation, have worked on several bilingual dictionary projects for global companies, and have experience in software localization as a result of my work as a translator in a software development company for many years. I am self-motivated, organized, disciplined, and I have an eye for detail. My work is known as being professional and accurate. I have a BA in English Language and Literature with a specialization in Translation and Interpretation Studies at the Catholic University of São Paulo and a specialization in English Literature at the University of São Paulo, and I have extensive knowledge in translation, proofreading, editing and terminology research.
