I am 40 and have been working as translator/interpreter for over 15 years in both directions between English and Hungarian, as well as German and Hungarian. Many of my translations have been performed in some of the best European theatres (I translate plays often), including the Burgtheater in Vienna, as well as leading theatres in Hungary.
As an interpreter I work most often for the theatre, films, music and other festivals, but I am also one of the few regular translators of the Goethe Institut in Budapest, the Hungarian Film Week, the Film Union, the Spring Festival, as well as Collegium Hungaricum in Berlin and numerous other institutions.
My recent topics other than the arts included a conference about workers' rights' history, a Rotary Conference and many others.
References include the world-famous Robert Wilson, as well as leading artists in Berlin, New York and Budapest, as well as festival, theatre, cultural institute directors, and again many others - please let me know if you need any.
In Hungarian, German and American English I have no accent and am normally taken for a born German or American, in British English I have a slight accent.
I have two full university degrees (both of five year studies), was a Fulbright Fellow at Columbia University. I am also a guest lecturer at the University of Theatre and Film in Budapest.
