سيأتي الوقتُ الذي
تستقبلُ فيه نفسَكَ، بابتهاجٍ
وأنتَ تقفُ على عتبة بابكَ، أمامَ مرآتِكَ
وسيبتسمُ كلٌّ منكُما في وجه الآخرِ مُرحِّبًا،
ويقول، اجلس هنا. كُلْ.
ستُحبُّ من جديدٍ ذاكَ الغريبَ الذي كنتَه.
قدِّمِ النبيذ. قدِّمِ الخُبز. قدِّم قلبَكَ، رُدَّهُ
إلى نفسِه، إلى الغريب الذي أحبَّك
طوال حياتك، إلى الذي تجاهلتَهُ
من أجل آخَرَ يعرفُكَ عن ظهرِ قلْب.
أنزِل رسائلَ الحُبّ من رفِّ الكتُب،
