How to send a Hindi message as wordpad attachment using Devanagri script?

I am using Windows XP in my PC. How can I enable Devanagri font in wordpad? I am using Baraha font. When I go to Format>font and click preview I see Hindi font but it does not appear on screen in wordpad. Instead I see some blocks only. This problem exists even if I set this as default. Please guide me the correct ways so that I can send my wordpad attachment in Devanagri through e-mail.
