What is زبوغ ، يازجيه ، و قسم و دخاخين . Just an additional note , these terms were used by Lebanese peoples in the their contracts and deeds on the years 1860....

They showed us a statement of their wages in a letter carrying the chief's stamp and written by his clerk.

The total of their revenue and tobacco was eighy six piastres.

As you can see this is an attempt which could be defective. Hereunder are some meanings:
Zabbougha== letter

Yaziji== clerk, secretary,treasurer..

kharaj== revenue, produce, crop..

Dakhakheen== tobacco plants..or is it dakakeen? plural of dukkan? in this case it should be shop or store.

please note that Arabic under the Ottoman Empire underwent some sort of metamorphosis which rendered it plausible to say the least.

anyway, translation is interesting because it tries to deconstruct the historical, geopolitical,religious, idiosynchratic to get a meaning of a word.
