Spondylolisthes (also called "spondyloptosis") is defined as "forward movement of the body of one of the lower lumbar vertebrae on the vertebra below it, or upon the sacrum" (Stedman's Medical Dictionary). This conditiona affects the "body" of the vertebra, and therefore should not be confused with herniation of a disk.

L5 stands for "lumbar 5" الفقرة القطنية الخامسة

SI stands for the sacroiliac joint المفصل العجزي الحرقفي
