On peut également y projeter des infos pêchées directement sur l'Internet : cartes, photos, graphiques illustrent ainsi les cours facilement. « C'est assez spectaculaire, indique Jean-Paul Boidin, principal du collège Pierre-Bertone à Antibes. Les collégiens tracent, entourent ou soulignent avec leur doigt sur le tableau. Grâce à l'aspect ludique, tout le monde veut répondre. »
Dernier avantage, alors qu'autrefois les leçons étaient effacées, elles sont désormais stockées informatiquement, et donc réutilisables. « Les enfants malades ou handicapés peuvent même travailler chez eux avec l'aide des cours disponibles sur l'Internet », indique Marie-Ange Arnoux, professeur d'algorithmique à Dijon. Comme dans un jeu télévisé, les élèves disposent aussi de « boîtiers-vote » afin de répondre directement au tableau. Environ 500 établissements primaires et secondaires disposent aujourd'hui de ce tableau révolutionnaire.
