I am a professional translator with 5+ years of experience. From a young age I have always been interested in languages, travel, and communication. I have lived and studied in various countries in South America and the Middle East and Europe. I completed my undergraduate degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation Studies with a minor concentration in English Literature and Linguistics from the City University of New York: Hunter College. Having completed a variety of courses in specialized translation I went on to receive a scholarship to complete my graduate studies in Spain where I received my MA in Professional Translation from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona. I currently live with my husband in Jordan where I teach English at a private academy, study Arabic and French in my free time, and continue to pursue my true passion: translation.
