My name is Gaëlle Anne Fouéré. I am a native French speaker and a translator/editor/writer, working in English and in Arabic.
A globetrotter, I left France in my twenties to live in Egypt, where I stayed for ten years, came back to Europe (Switzerland, then France) a few years ago, and will certainly broaden my horizons soon!
Such a disposition inevitably led me to become a language professional. I targeted the UN organizations, because I felt they offered opportunities to make a positive impact on our world, and I gained an extensive experience of linguist in a number of them - WHO, the World Bank, UNOPS, UNCDF, etc.
In addition to my Master in Translation (Lyon-2 University, France), I also hold a Master in Sciences of Information and Communication (Paris-4 Sorbonne University, France), and worked as a journalist, either in French or in English. This provided me with valuable analytical skills and a general knowledge of political, economic and social issues that are always beneficial to my clients.
