A graduate from Damascus University, Faculty of Letters and Humanities, the English department, and a holder of certified diploma (higher studies) degree in translation. Specialization and practice cover all different areas of translation: legal, political, editorial, litrary and many more, including interpreting and simultaneous translation.

Main field of interest is linguistic studies. Thus, the ultimate goal is to convey the intended meaning of the source language with its associations and atmosphere smoothly and coherently.

Living and working in the U.S. since 2001 (experience and daily interaction with the two tongues on a professional level.)
