I am a freelance translator, I live in Slovakia, my mother tongue is Slovak. My main language pair is Slovak-English both ways. I also provide translations from and to Czech, from Arabic, French and Hungarian languages into Slovak or English.

I have more than 12 years of full-time translation and interpretation experience. I have translated many documents, for example: EU documents, birth and marriage certificates, university diplomas, business contracts, user manuals for electric devices, project guidelines, labels for food products, museum information booklet, subtitles for TV series, film reviews, promotion materials to newspapers, technical documentation etc. (As an example of my quality services I can mention that I translated (from Slovak into English) and proofread (the English part) all the 4 quarterly issues of the Inflight Magazine of Slovak Airlines in the year 2005 - each issue was published in about 20 000 copies.) I have interpreted in numerous business meetings dealing in various topics: tobacco production, automobile industry, tyre marketing, tourism. For 5 years I have been working with the Israeli Chamber of Commmerce in Slovakia as their approved English-Slovak translator and interpreter (I translated and was responsible for the English parts in several of their publications - books and magazines). I cooperate with several translation agencies all over the world.

My rate is 70 EUR for 1000 English words, 300 EUR for full day interpretation, 170 EUR for half-day interpretation plus travel costs. If you need my services, be free to contact me. Upon request I can send my CV with detailed work experience. I am looking forward to possible future cooperation.
