نهضتُ، وركضتُ نحو مُرتفع من الأرض، وجعلتُ وجهي صوبَ بيت صديقي وناديته بأعلى صوتي: يا محمّد

Hello everyone,

This is from a young adult novel - the author is Palestinian.
I'm wondering if this means "a hill" or simply a patch of ground that's a bit higher than the land around it - so, not as "formal" as a hill.

Any thoughts appreciated!
