Allah SWT is still waiting for you to announce/ show humble submission
The verse 57:16 is rendered as: "Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah .."
which means they've been too late in showing humble submission
I prefer not to use the word 'late' or ' slow' in this case
I suggest: "Allah SWT is still waiting for you to announce/ show humble submission"

Hope I just gave you a clue Amel, as it is a problematic statement in translation

Or you could say: waiting for your hearts to move/soften and humbly submit
