• Start of treatment:
The first dose of WILFACTIN is 40 to 80 IU/kg for the treatment of haemorrhage or trauma, in conjunction with the required amount of factor VIII product, calculated according to the patient’s baseline plasma level of FVIII:C, in order to achieve an appropriate plasma level of FVIII:C, immediately before the intervention or as soon as possible after the onset of the bleeding episode or severe trauma. In case of surgery, it should be given 1 hour before the procedure.
An initial dose of 80 IU/kg of WILFACTIN may be required, especially in patients with type 3 VWD where maintenance of adequate levels may require higher doses than other types of VWD.
For elective surgery, treatment with WILFACTIN should start 12 to 24 hours before surgery and should be repeated 1 hour before the procedure. In this case co-administration of a factor VIII product is not required, since endogenous FVIII:C has usually reached the critical level of 0.4 IU/ml (40%) before surgery. However, this should be confirmed in each patient.

Le traitement substitutif de l'hémophilie A sans et, a fortiori, avec inhibiteur du facteur VIII par le facteur VIII de coagulation humain, doit être pris en charge ou surveillé par un spécialiste de l'hémophilie.
Comme tout médicament contenant des protéines et administré par voie intraveineuse, FACTANE peut provoquer la survenue de réactions allergiques.

The Senior Project Manager assigns a linguist.
The group of files to be translated is reviewed. The tools are determined. Word counts are checked, and the process to follow is defined (if not already specified by the customer).
A language lead is assigned to resolve terminology issues as needed. Glossaries and memories are assigned to the project.
If required, this material may be created from scratch and personalized according to the client's specifications.
The purchase order or approved quote, indicating approval, is received from the client, and work begins.
Files and volumes are assigned to the translator based on their experience and background with the topic/client, and on the agreed-upon due date.
The translation process begins and follows its course:
Questions and queries are forwarded to the Senior Project Manager for resolution. A glossary is generated or updated as the translation process continues.
Questions that cannot be resolved internally are escalated to the client, and the client's confirmed responses are incorporated into the translation.
The translator reviews the files and runs a spell check.
The files are then to be reviewed/edited. A third person is then in charge of carrying out a technical reading of the text and a linguistic reading to detect possible cases of incorrect translation, style issues, or the use of terms not in the glossary.
The original translator incorporates the editors' proposed corrections. This feedback allows us to improve the translators' learning curves.
The Senior Project Manager uploads all translated files, along with invoice & payment information, to the client’s directory. He emails the client to confirm that all translated documents are complete.
